Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,100 per week

Job Summary

The area is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Machias, Maine. The position involves delivering high-quality, patient-family centered care in a Medical Surgical (MS) specialty unit. The RN will work days shifts and provide essential clinical support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and adherence to organizational standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine or able to obtain
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• 1 year of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical (MS) unit
• Able to function independently
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Strong emergency response skills
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a medical-surgical floor
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
