Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience
- Residence in the specified region
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with chest tubes, pain management, TPN, CBI, and wound care
- Charge nurse experience (a plus)
- Chest tube experience preferred
Float rotation may be required.
Additional information
Unit team includes 2–3 nurse aides per shift. Respiratory therapy equipment (including CPAP) is available. Telehealth monitoring is performed on the floor with readings by monitor technicians. Orientation consists of two days of department‑specific training and one day on the floor. Flexibility for weekend and holiday scheduling is appreciated; typically every third weekend and holiday may be required. The unit uses the EPIC charting system and has no call or standby requirements. Scrub color must be a solid color with no patterns or designs.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
