Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical‑surgical conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain typical patient ratios of 1:5 with support from patient care technicians.
• Provide post‑operative care, IV therapy, wound management, and patient education as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Meditech for documentation.

Requirements

• Active Kansas or compact state Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of recent medical‑surgical nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EMR platforms (e.g., Meditech).

Skills

• Experience with post‑operative care, IV therapy, wound management, and patient education.
