Travel Medical Surgical RN - $2,087 per week

About the Role

As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will manage a diverse patient population, including post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical cases. You may float to other medical-surgical units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical patients.
• Float to other medical-surgical units as required.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Sunrise experience recommended).
• Provide care in a supportive facility with 52 private rooms and 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Sunrise (recommended).

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Med Surg specialty.
• Two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification (copy required).
• SSN and date of birth required for onboarding.
• One professional reference from the last 12 months.
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.

Skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for med-surg patients.
• Ability to adapt to floating between units.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,035.00 – $2,139.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week).

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12‑hour shifts, days and nights.
• Start date: ASAP.
