Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,075 per week

Travel nurse RN Med Surg position in Morgantown, West Virginia. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on a Medical Surgical floor managing orthopedics, joint replacements, and fractures.
• Care for orthopedic patients, particularly those undergoing joint replacement and fracture management.
• Apply experience with Total Joint Replacement procedures.
• Adhere to unit‑specific protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient‑centered care with a focus on safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence during rotating night shifts.

Requirements

• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting, specifically with orthopedic patients.
• Valid nursing license.
• Willingness to wait for license submission.
• Ability to work rotating night shifts (12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum).
• Located outside 50 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in orthopedic units involving joint replacements.
• Familiarity with Electronic Patient Charting systems such as EPIC.
• Competence in managing telemetry equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

Schedule

Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, including weekend and holiday rotations, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
