About the role
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves caring for patients with infectious diseases, including COVID, MRSA, and C-Diff, in private rooms. The position requires strong knowledge of MedSurg and infection control protocols, with responsibilities including medication administration and patient monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patients
- Work in an infectious disease and isolation environment
- Manage titratable IV medications such as Heparin
- Adhere to infection control precautions
- Read monitors remotely from a dedicated control area (Charge Nurses 24/7)
- Complete orientation: one day EPIC system training, one day on the floor with a preceptor, then independent practice
- Float to any Medical Surgical units; if floated to Telemetry, patients assigned within skillset
- Maintain dress code: Royal blue scrubs, no hoodies or sweat-jackets
Requirements
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Current nursing license
Schedule
12-hour day and night shifts, 36 hours per week minimum, with weekend rotations every other week.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
