About the role

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, MS Location: a healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Floor Nurse to join the team on a 36-hour weekly rotating day/night schedule. This position involves caring for adult patients with acute and complex medical conditions on a 27-bed inpatient unit, primarily admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from intensive care units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Care for adult patients with acute and complex medical conditions.
• Work on a 27-bed inpatient unit serving culturally diverse backgrounds.
• Adapt to occasional floating requirements.
• Possess strong clinical skills applicable to adult medical-surgical care.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar adult inpatient unit.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EPIC).

Skills

• Strong clinical skills for adult medical-surgical care.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, 12-hour shifts.
• Adaptability to occasional floating.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
