About the role
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) working on a nursing unit located within the healthcare provider organization. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting, following standard nursing protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires adherence to facility policies and clinical standards to support patient health and recovery.
Schedule
- Nights shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs
- Administer medications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care per facility policies
Requirements
- Valid nursing licensure (RN)
- Active state license or authorization
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Adaptability to clinical protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation
