Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,970 per week

Job Summary

The Med surg RN position in Medford, Oregon involves providing patient care on a 38-bed medical-surgical unit focused on post-surgical recovery, with a variety of patient diagnoses excluding cardiac, orthopedics, and neurology. The position requires adaptability to floating within the medical-surgical units and adherence to unit-specific protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification
• Oregon or eligible for a 90-day temporary license
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Valid RN licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with chest tubes, central lines, heparin drips, NG and JP drains, wound vacs, and dressing changes
• Ability to titrate titratable drips such as heparin and amiodarone
• Basic understanding of strip interpretation, lethal rhythms, and telemetry

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted; there is a 50-mile radius restriction.
• No vents are present; CPAP at night for maintenance.
• Scrubs are provided; proper dress code must be followed.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
