Travel Medical Surgical RN - $1,935 per week

About the role

Telemetry RNs connect patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels and electrocardiogram data, which is sent to computer screens for monitoring. They read and interpret the data to guide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years referenced in requirements).

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry.
• Discipline: RN.
• Start date: 11/02/2026.
• Duration: 26 weeks.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 lbs routinely; patient handling may require up to 50 lbs.
• Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
