About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a Neuro Unit team in Wilmington, North Carolina for a 13-week travel contract. This position focuses on adult and geriatric patients with neuro-focused diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care for adults and geriatrics with neuro-focused diagnoses.
- Utilize a teamwork approach to promote a safe and effective patient care environment.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy.
- Participate in the charge nurse role as needed and be willing to float to other units.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- NIHSS certification and neuro experience are preferred.
- Current RN license (NC or Compact license pending is acceptable for submission).
Schedule
- 13-week contract position.
- Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15).
- 36 hours per week with a patient ratio of 1:6.
