Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neuro-related conditions.
- Maintain patient safety and quality of care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a neuro setting.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
- Must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
