Job Summary

Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) in Wichita, KS. This medical surgical unit specializes in Oncology and general surgery, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The unit operates with a primary nursing care model and maintains patient ratios of 1:5, with remote tele patient monitoring requiring VS every 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide standard medical surgical care
• Chemotherapy administration
• Work as part of a supportive team in a magnet designated facility

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Chemo certification is preferred

Schedule

• Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
