Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,820 per week

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor RN in Kansas City, Missouri. Provides direct patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, supporting postoperative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, trauma patients, and neuro overflow cases on a busy med‑surg unit.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years experience in a medical‑surgical setting
• Experience with orthopedic and trauma care
• Ability to work dayshift hours

Schedule

Days, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.

Additional Information

• Unit: 23 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Equipment: traction, fixators, cooling equipment
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Team practices bedside shift reports and hourly rounding
• Floating to other MedSurg units, including Nephrology and Neuro/Trauma, is permitted

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
