Travel Medical Surgical RN - $1,862 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Oncology Registered Nurse for a travel nursing position. This role is focused on providing care for adult patients battling cancer, including medical and surgical care, palliative care, and family education about oncological processes.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position
• Night shifts available for 3x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:00)
• Includes weekdays and every other weekend
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care to medical and surgical oncology patients
• Provide education and support to patients and families on cancer processes
• Monitor patient health and conduct regular assessments
• Assist with chemotherapy administration and other related procedures
• Manage telemetry patients, including central line draws, blood administration, PCA pumps, and more
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current RN license valid in West Virginia or a Compact RN License
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Oncology experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry care and chemotherapy administration is a plus
