Medical Surgical Nurse in Somerset, Kentucky. This position involves providing nursing care for adult patients in a 12-hour shift, with a focus on ensuring quality patient outcomes within a dynamic hospital environment. The selected candidate will join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services in a state-of-the-art facility.
Schedule
- 12-hour days, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- 36 hours per week with weekly guaranteed hours
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult patients
- Float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed
Requirements
- Certifications as per healthcare provider standards
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adult patient populations
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced settings
Additional Information
- Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must meet the local rate requirement of $46.80
- Assignment begins on 09/07/2026 and offers coverage for leave
