Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,771 per week

About the role

The role requires a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical-surgical environment, particularly with post-operative orthopedic patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care on a 27-bed unit.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs using Welch Allen vital sign machines.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as blood transfusions and IV maintenance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care using the Meditech Expanse documentation system.

Requirements

• Basic medical-surgical nursing experience, particularly with post-op ortho patients.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Post-operative orthopedic patient experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 3 days a week with every other weekend.
