Travel Medical Surgical RN - $1,722 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Swing Bed Unit. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to swing bed patients who require in-house rehabilitation and long-term IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Care for swing bed patients requiring rehabilitation and long-term IV therapy.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, manage medications, and administer treatments.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced skills such as managing ports, blood product administration, and more.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an LTAC or telemetry setting.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is advantageous.
• Experience in patient management (CVA, renal failure, wound care, etc.) is preferred.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend, and every other holiday.
