Travel Medical Surgical RN - $1,687 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week contract in Amarillo, Texas. The position starts 10/12/2026, requires 36 hours per week (4×12‑hour day shifts, 07:00‑19:30), and is a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of inpatient Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current and valid RN license (state or compact).
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with the Epic charting system (within the last 6 months).
