About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Med Surg setting
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alabama
- Current BLS certification
- One year of recent relevant clinical experience preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
