Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,611 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Complex Intervention Unit, focusing on adult medical and surgical patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions. The unit consists of 18 beds, with a focus on both acute care and mental health support.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with diverse medical and behavioral health needs.
• Manage patient evaluations, medication administration, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
• Monitor vital signs and patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Support patients through recovery, utilizing therapeutic interventions and patient education.

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Schedule Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.
