A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is available in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit, adhering to hospital protocols and patient safety standards. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, following the facility's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Flexibility in adapting to unit needs and maintaining excellent communication are essential for success.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid state nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Location in North Carolina or ability to commute to the area

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital environment
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
