About the role
The medical surgical floor registered nurse position is located in Edenton, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit, following hospital policies and procedures, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule
- Days shift
- 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float rotation may be required
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit
- Follow hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments
- Commit to patient-centered care
- Complete all facility-specific onboarding and compliance requirements prior to start date
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Current certifications as required by the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on a medical-surgical floor
- BLS certification
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
