About the role

The healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term assignment at a medical-surgical rehabilitation floor specializing in acute inpatient rehabilitation. This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized patient care in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and contribute to ongoing recovery programs for patients with neurological, orthopedic, and trauma-related conditions.

Schedule

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a medical-surgical rehabilitation floor
• Support recovery programs for patients with neurological, orthopedic, and trauma-related conditions

Requirements

• Current state certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Child and Adult Iowa Mandatory Reporters certification
• Minimum of 0 years of experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Cooperative personality with a desire to be a team player
• Uniform scrub color: navy

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in acute, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings (preferred but not required)

Additional Information

• First report time is 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM

• Parking is available on the side of the building

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
