Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in New London, CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a medical surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes.
• Perform isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Manage oxygen administration and peripheral line care.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Knowledge of med/surg procedures and protocols.
• Ability to manage oxygen administration and peripheral line care.
• Experience with non-invasive airway management and nasal cannula use.
• Experience with rapid response and code teams.
