About the role

13-week assignment with night shifts (19:00 – 07:30), 3×12-hour schedule. Start date: 08/28/2026. Charting system: Epic.

Responsibilities

• Blood Product Administration
• Bowel obstruction management
• Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
• Colostomy/ileostomy management and care
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Med/Surg nursing
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• Oral suctioning
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Renal failure care
• Spinal cord injury care
• Substance Withdrawal management
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Active CT License or Compact License
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification

Facility & Unit Information

Acute Care Hospital – Level 2 trauma center with 511 beds.

• Patient ratios: 6:1 on nights, 5:1 on weekends
• Compact License accepted
• Charting experience required

Pay

$2,247.60 to $2,444.88 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).
