About the role

Aya is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join their team in New London, CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring medical surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration as required.
• Care for patients with peripheral lines and manage their care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Knowledge of Med/Surg protocols.
• Experience with nasal cannulas and oxygen administration.
• Experience with oxygen tanks and peripheral line care.
• Experience with non-invasive airway management and rapid response teams.
