About the Role
This travel nursing role is based in a vibrant community, offering an opportunity to work in a 42-bed Medical Respiratory Unit. You will care for patients with respiratory conditions such as pneumonia and COPD, support medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke or post-surgical needs, and collaborate during daily interdisciplinary rounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients with respiratory conditions (e.g., pneumonia, COPD).
- Support medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, stroke, or post-surgical needs.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license (Alabama or Compact).
- AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
- Preferred recent experience in Med-Surg/Respiratory.
- Willingness to float to other units and hospitals.
