Job Summary

The hospital in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical Orthopedic care for a night shift position. The role involves providing high-quality patient care on a unit that treats geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 and older). The position is part of a fast-paced, trauma-level healthcare environment requiring teamwork, dedication, and compassionate service.

Job Details

  • Location: 555 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • RN license in Tennessee

  • Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS

  • 1+ years of clinical experience

  • Ability to work in the specified geographic location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good assessment skills

  • Experience with post-operative joints, bariatric surgery, trauma, and post-op care

Unit Information

  • Department: Medical Surgical Orthopedic

  • Floor Number of Beds: 23

  • Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per nurse

  • Level III Trauma Center status

  • Electronic Health Record system: Meditech

Additional Information

  • No call requirements

  • Professional attire: Scrubs (any color, T-shirts must include hospital logo); no acrylic nails

  • Must be willing to float as needed during the assignment

  • Orientation is weekly, on Mondays

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
