Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology RN - $2,255 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Oncology Floor registered nurse (RN) position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, including port access, PIV placement, blood products administration, and injections.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
• Manage port access and PIV placement
• Administer blood products and injections
• Provide care for adult and geriatric cancer patients
• Float to other units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy
• Pass telemetry testing, including recognition of lethal rhythms and heart block questions

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient acute care experience in oncology or related fields within the last 3 years
• Oncology nursing certifications (ONS/ONCC)
• BLS certification from AHA
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, port care, and blood products (preferred)

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
