Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an oncology med-surg setting
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient care conferences
• Assist with medication administration and documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in oncology or med-surg preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of oncology and/or med-surg nursing practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
