Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology RN - $2,045 per week

Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for oncology patients in a dedicated medical-surgical setting. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care, utilizing the latest procedures and technology to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license;
• Chemo Certification by ONS provider;
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
• Up to 1 year of nursing experience;
• Tennessee nursing license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology or medical-surgical nursing;
• Familiarity with MediTech Expanse documentation system;
• Proficiency in sterile technique for port access and peripheral venipuncture;
• Able to draw labs via central venous catheter or peripheral veins.

Additional Information

• Float to TCT Infusion (department 716) may be required, with orientation to that department beforehand.
• The unit has no unit secretaries or tech staff available;
• Utilizes Alaris Pumps for medication administration;
• Patient ratio is 4:1 chairs at a time;
• Staff may perform procedures such as port access and IV hydration.
