About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Oncology RN to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing care for medical and surgical patients battling cancer, with an emphasis on palliative care and family education on oncological processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for a diverse adult population, including telemetry and urology patients.
- Aid in the administration of chemotherapy and management of central lines and ports.
- Maintain patient vitals and manage PCA pumps.
- Educate families on oncology processes and palliative care approaches.
- Floated within assigned duties to meet the needs of the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
- Current WV or Compact RN License is required (pending license accepted for submission).
- Certifications: BLS required; ONS/ONCC preferred for chemotherapy administration.
