Qualifications

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS
• 2 years of recent relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility

Contract Details

• Pay: $2,470 – $2,684 per week (estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals)
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (AM shifts available)
• Hospital setting
• Start date: ASAP
