Travel Medical Sonographer - General Diagnostic - $2,169 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Sonographers for contract assignments at a partnering hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a 13‑week travel contract with possibility to extend, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts (AM shifts available).

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility

Requirements

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• 2 years of recent relevant experience

Pay

$1,956 – $2,169 per week (estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals; pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation).

Schedule

8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week; AM shifts available. 13‑week contract with possibility to extend.
