Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and prepare specimens
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
• Document test results and quality control measures
• Support inventory management and reagent preparation
• Absorb transfusion reactions and support laboratory operations
• Communicate clearly with healthcare staff and ensure compliance with standards

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of recent MLT experience
• Valid license as per state requirements
• PREFERRED: ASCP or equivalent certification
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and physical ability to handle equipment and specimens
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration
