HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist for a travel job in Salt Lake City, Utah. Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 26 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance, quality control, and calibrations on analyzers.
- Conduct patient testing, including waived and non‑waived tests.
- Process specimens: order tests, centrifuge specimens, prepare send‑outs for transport as needed.
- Stock lab supplies and perform routine cleaning of lab surfaces.
Requirements
- Current MLS or MLT certification through ASCP (or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a hospital laboratory environment as an MLT or MLS.
- Ability to work and communicate professionally with both lab and non‑lab personnel; comfortable interfacing with clinical staff in the ED while often working independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Prior experience with the laboratory analyzers used at the facility.
