Travel Medical Lab Scientist - $1,953 per week

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of complex medical laboratory procedures under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine and complex laboratory tests using automated and manual techniques.
• Interpreting test results and reporting findings accurately to healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Cerner experience required.
• Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB.

Qualifications

Medical Laboratory Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists only. Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) are not eligible.

Schedule

Every other weekend required. Shift: 8 hours, nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week.
