Travel Medical ICU RN - $2,485 per week

About the Role

Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) opportunity available in a Level III Trauma Center. This critical care position involves providing specialized nursing care for adult patients with complex medical conditions. The assignment includes night shifts, with floating to other Medical/Surgical units as needed, supporting a dynamic and high-acuity environment.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Rotating day positions available (7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a) when scheduled
• Night shift does not rotate

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• 2+ years of adult ICU experience, with at least 2 years of continuous work in one location, preferably in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Telemetry competency required; must be able to read tele strips
• Float: float rotation may be required for up to 4 or 5 patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC)

Unit Details

• Patient population: adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• 20 beds
• Attending physicians and Residents present 24 hours per day
