About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Maywood, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a medical intensive care unit setting
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by a physician
- Monitor and record vital signs and other pertinent data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in medical intensive care units preferred
Qualifications
- Passionate about travel nursing and flexible scheduling

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
