• Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Holidays as required by facility.
• Every other weekend required.

About the Unit

The Medical Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency and collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education

• Required: Associated degree in nursing

Certifications

• Required: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIHOR, RED CROSS Certifications
• PREFERRED: PALS – If working in pediatric unit

Licenses

• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license
• Nursys

Experience

• Required: 2 years’ experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
