About the role
This position is for a travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry, providing patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data
- Provide bedside care
- Manage specialized equipment
- Identify irregular readings and initiate corrective actions
- Connect patients to monitoring machines
- Interpret data to guide patient care
- Respond to adverse symptoms
- Perform routine patient assessments
- Stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient transfers as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Specific vision abilities
- Additional certifications may be required prior to start
- Ready to work night shifts
- Excellent observation skills
- Capable of handling the physical demands of the role
