Patient Acuity & Responsibilities
- High Acuity Med Surg 4–5 patients, occasionally 6
- Patient conditions: COPD, PNA, CHF, DKA, DM1 & DM2, Pleural effusions, Pneumothorax (Chest Tubes/Pleurex Drainage Catheters)
- Experience required with: trachs, vents, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen
- Telemetry competent
Facility & Staffing Details
- 16 beds in unit
- Ratios: 4–5 patients, sometimes 6
- Traveler may be requested to float to:
- Concord Hospital–Laconia, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH 03246
- Concord Hospital–Franklin, 15 Aiken Ave, Franklin, NH 03235
Submission Requirements
- Up-to-date resume including ≥2 years of experience in specialty and travel experience documentation
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- NURSYS report
- License verification for all active RN licenses
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- EMR experience preferred: Cerner
- Current certifications required:
- BLS required
- NHISS needed prior to start
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years Med Surg experience required
- Will accept Critical Care RNs fluent with med-surg ratios and acuity
- Open to first-time travelers
