Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $2,463 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract position in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at a facility in Plattsburgh, New York. The role involves 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) with weekend requirements, specifically every other weekend. This position offers 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and medical histories.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and patient procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to other telemetry units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current NY RN License or proof of application.
• BLS certification (required); CMSRN (preferred).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required prior to starting).
• Epic experience within the past 2 years.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
