- Shift: 12 hours, nights
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
- Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
- Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
- Candidate may be required to float to the West Burlington or Henry County campus at times.
- While not part of a regular call rotation, traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Requirements
- ACLS Required.
- EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months Required.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
