Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $2,440 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position with the potential for extensions. The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care in a hospital setting, with potential float opportunities to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, rotating
• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Potential for rotating shifts based on operational needs; facility will attempt to accommodate traveler preferences

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a telemetry environment
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans as directed by clinical protocols
• Assist in patient assessments and documentation in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing, ideally from one location but combinations are acceptable
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience is considered valid
• Active Permanent Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License required at the time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with two attempts to pass

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
