About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering age-specific, direct patient care. The RN utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. In this role, the RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including the delegation of work to other employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal laws regarding healthcare.
  • Participate in and complete required training, including ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active RN license.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) prior to contract start or scheduled during Clinical Orientation.
  • De-escalation training as a prerequisite for contract initiation.

Schedule

This position is for day shifts with a normal urgency and a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
