MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for an assignment in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The position starts on 10/19/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, and is a travel employment type.
Responsibilities
Med‑Surg Nurses (RN) provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures and attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. They must be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions. Responsibilities include completing assignments made by physicians, providing routine treatment and post‑surgical care, assessing changes in patient health status and performing various treatments, administering medication, and maintaining meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
