About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Rock Island, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
