Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $2,286 per week
About the Role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry position in Denison, Iowa. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a). The role may require floating as needed and does not include call shifts. Start date is as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a 21-bed unit with an average census of 8-10 patients
- Manage patient ratios of 1:5, rarely 1:6, with 3 nurses scheduled per shift
- Work every other weekend
- Set up and use Bi-Pap equipment
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Active certifications: BLS, ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA (only AHA certifications accepted)
- CAH (Critical Access Hospital) experience highly preferred
- Cerner experience preferred but may train the right candidate
